Why Cover, and what Cover is not

Cover sells exactly one product: the Unison Decree 602-compliant compulsory tourist policy (30,000 GEL aggregate cover, fixed by the regulation). There are no premium or basic tiers, no adventure-sports add-on, no comprehensive-travel variant.

Practical consequences:

  • Cover is the right choice when the goal is border-entry compliance with Decree 602: denominated in GEL at the regulatory minimum, bilingual PDF English + Georgian, recognised by the Ministry of Internal Affairs at every land and air border.
  • Cover is not a multi-country travel insurer. Coverage applies inside Georgia only. Trips that include significant time in other countries should be paired with a separate destination or Schengen policy.
  • Cover is not a comprehensive travel-cancellation product. Trip cancellation, lost luggage, missed connections, and flight delays are not within the Decree 602 product's scope.
  • Pre-existing medical conditions are excluded under Decree 602 compulsory cover. Travellers with ongoing treatment for a known condition should arrange separate insurance before they travel.
